
Our Story
Dr. Maryam Yavari, MD (IMG), Ph.D., ND, is an experienced healthcare practitioner with a strong foundation in Traditional Humoral Medicine and a focus on clinical research. She earned her medical degree from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, a Ph.D. from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She also completed a two-year clinical residency in naturopathic medicine. Dr. Yavari is a licensed naturopathic doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
Her contributions to clinical research include numerous peer-reviewed publications, scientific books, and awards. Dr. Yavari is also an academic faculty member at CCNM and has taught at the University of Toronto. She serves on the board of directors and communications committee of the International Society for Complementary Medicine Research (ISCMR), the board of directors of INCAM, and as Co-chair of the North American Primary Care Research Group (NAPCRG).
Dr. Yavari is passionate about integrating naturopathic medicine with her clinical experience to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care. Her areas of interest include preventive healthcare, lifestyle modification, women’s health, hormonal imbalances, thyroid and gastrointestinal disorders, neurocognitive health, and neuro-acupuncture. She values cultural diversity in healthcare and is dedicated to offering high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs.
